Job Description: Newput is currently seeking a full time Senior Interaction Designer (Technical) to join our growing multi-disciplinary team. As a Senior Interaction Designer, you will be responsible for information architecture, interaction design and visual design for our customers' Web-based applications. You will be responsible for making the designs usable and useful to their target users. You will identify user personas, use-case scenarios, create wireframes and work closely with creative designers and engineers to implement the designs.

You must be self-motivated and able to work both independently and in conjunction with team members and customers. Enthusiasm and flexibility to work on a variety of projects are necessary, as well as the ability to rapidly acquire new domain familiarity. Experience with the internet and user interface design experience is a must.

Strong Dynamic HTML, JavaScript, CSS experience a definite plus.

Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in an interaction design role
  • Strong portfolio and excellent attitude
  • Experience with user-centered design
  • Web-based products and working directly with customers in a consulting role a definite plus
